Rose Skincare Products you should be adding to your routine

Wall of roses

Recently I published a post talking about the benefit of rose in skincare (click here to read) because I think there is a perception that rose is an old-fashioned ingredient when in fact it is the perfect natural skincare ingredient for women and men in their 20s to 50s, and not something that should be relegated to memories of your grandmother’s dressing table. I use lots of rose skincare products in my regular skincare routines and wanted to showcase some of them to you for you to try.

I split all my recommended rose skincare options out below to help you work out what is best for you:

My go-to daily range

The Pixi Beauty range is my daily go-to when wanting to use rose skincare products. It is affordable, accessible, and if you purchase via Look Fantastic there are normally excellent discounts and offers on too so check their home page, flash banners, and offers sections for available discount codes.

The first thing I ever bought from this range was the Pixi Bet of Rose Gift Set. It allowed me to try the products before committing to the full-sized versions. I always buy from Look Fantastic because they always have special offer and deals on worth taking advantage of.

Best Budget Rose Skincare Products

Offering some basic rose skincare options at a good price is Nuxe. You wont get as good a range as Pixi Beauty, but if you want to dip your toe in the water and just see how you feel about this whole rose thing then Nuxe cold be for you.

The rose skincare products that I am dying to try

I have heard so much about Fresh rose skincare thanks to their amazing an in depth Instagram story highlight reel all about the range. I have used their lip scrub and lip balm but not yet anything else from their skincare range, and this rose range especially the sleep mask, I am craving!

My favourite rose cleanser

This product was my first foray into rose-infused skincare and it remains my favourite to this day. I cannot rave enough about these cleansing balms, the whole range is to die for, melting away all traces of makeup and leaving your skin silky soft after use. Again, check out Look Fantastic for amazing deals and offers on Elemis skincare.

And, although I haven’t as yet used them, the Elemis range can be completed with these two products for the full rose entourage:

The best range for dryer skin

If you don’t have oily skin like me, I can highly recommend the following rose skincare product range. I tried this range and overall enjoyed using it. My one concern was that it was a little too oily for my skin and therefore I would recommend this for people whose skin errs on the side of dryness.

Other rose infused products to consider

Rose skincare doesn’t need to stop at products to use on your face, I have discovered some other items for use on your lips, body and hands that are also infused with the magic power of natural rose.

  • Rose lip balm by Glossier which you can also buy as part of a 3 piece set with face wash and moisturiser which both come recommended for sensitive skin types. This is my go-to lip balm and I swear by it.
  • Ameliorate transforming body lotion is targeted at use on skin that is prone to little bumps, like the ones I get at the top of my arms.
  • Garnier rose micellar water is great for removing lipstick and eye makeup before giving your face an all-over cleanse with a deeper face wash. Garnier offer a full range of rose skincare at a budget price option.
  • I haven’t yet used Pixi body polish, but if rose has such a gorgeous effect on facial skin, it makes sense that it will also work wonders over the body.
  • L’occitane creates the most beautifully fragranced products, and this hand cream is no exception. What a beautiful gift for someone, or for yourself.
